Magenta Alert II
2017
Magenta Alert is an endurance performance by J Knoblach which takes place at Bayou Bienvenue, Lake Fausse, West Pearl River, Mississippi River, and future waterway sites in Louisiana. The project involves several collaborators including but not limited to Nisa East, Mayaba Liebenthal, Gabrielle Garcia-Steib, Sarrah Danziger, Alahna Moore, and Kristina E. Knipe. During a solo show at Staple Goods Gallery, Knoblach organized a roundtable discussion in the gallery with Bob Thomas, Eve Butler, Donny Verdin, Jose Torres-Tama, and one representative from L'eau Est La Vie camp.
